Your website is killing the planet.

The average website with 100K monthly page views emits over 2 tonnes of CO2 annually. CO2 emissions contribute to climate change by trapping heat in the atmosphere, leading to global warming and its devastating environmental, economic, and social impacts.

The web is growing rapidly, with over a billion websites online and millions more added each year, making it more important than ever to neutralize your emissions and build a sustainable digital future.
"The more complex a website is, the more energy it requires to load – and the greater its climate impact. Scale that up to the whole internet and you’ve got a big problem."

FAQ

All you need to know to go green

Why should I neutralize my website's emissions?
The Internet is responsible for more CO2 emissions globally than many individual countries. While a single page view typically produces only a few grams of CO2, multiplying that by all your visitors over a year can result in your website emitting several metric tonnes of CO2. For comparison, emissions per passenger on a typical flight are less than 90 grams per kilometer traveled. For businesses or organizations, which usually have higher-than-average website traffic, this number can be significantly higher.
How can I be sure my contribution is making a real impact?
All CO2 reduction projects we fund are independently verified as highly impactful by The Gold Standard - an organization established by WWF, the UN, and other NGOs to set benchmarks for sustainability projects. Every Gold Standard project delivers measurable and direct reductions in global CO2 emissions.

Unfortunately not, at this time we're only onboarding organizations. We plan to open our platform to individuals in the future, but it is not on the immediate roadmap. Please reach out and let us know if you think that we should prioritize this.
Are EU-based organizations tax exempt?
Yes, all organizations with VAT registration inside the EU are exempt from value-added tax. To be eligible for tax exemption, you are required by law to provide a valid tax ID, such as a VAT registration number.
Are you a non-profit organization?
We chose to establish the company as a for-profit entity because addressing climate change requires rapid scaling and innovation, which are easier in a commercial structure. This purpose-driven model allows us to be more agile while focusing on environmental impact. All profits are reinvested into climate action, and we maintain transparency and accountability to ensure our goals align with reducing CO2 emissions.
